Source: Turkey sees no air travel with Russia until Sep
ANKARA, Jun 18 (PRIME) -- The Turkish tourist business does not expect the restoration of air travel with Russia in the near future, this may happen no earlier than in mid-July–August or even in September, a source in the industry told PRIME on Friday.
Russia has limited air traffic with Turkey since April 15 due to the unfavorable epidemiological situation in the country. In late May, the government’s response center to fight the spread of the coronavirus infection extended the restrictions until June 21.
“The Turkish tourist business does not seriously expect that air travel with Russia will be restored in the near future. Not earlier than mid-July–August, and maybe even in September,” the source said.
